Board Development: High Performance Capability Workshop

Boards or senior teams in Welsh public services or third sector/voluntary organisations

This course is delivered on demand

1 day

This facilitated workshop will focus on the priority areas of work – identifying shifts in performance over time; what has worked well, what has not worked and why.

The workshop then moves on to consider future momentum and uses the High Performance Capability Model developed by Academi Wales to assess current performance against the three key domains of high performance:

  • Leadership – Setting direction, igniting passion, pace and drive and developing people;
  • Strategy –Setting strategy and focusing on outcomes, using evidence and customer based insight that drive choices and decisions, building collaboration and common purpose;
  • Delivery – Managing performance and value for money, developing clear roles and responsibilities, delivery models, planning, resourcing and priority identification, innovation and improving delivery.
