What is One Welsh Public Service?

As One Welsh Public Service, we have a shared purpose and shared drivers to achieve a better and lasting quality of life for us all.

It is about improving the economic, social, environmental and cultural well-being to help us create a Wales that we want to live in now and in the future. It is a way of thinking and behaving – developing a future where we can all work together with a joint purpose, having shared vision and values.

Living these values means being autonomous yet accountable, being both brave and bold and creating a culture that is open and transparent where people achieve their potential.

We’re also asking you to take our ‘One Welsh Public Service’ pledges

We know that we’re more likely to act on our promises if we share them with others – so now’s your time to do just that!

How will we support ‘One Welsh Public Service’ this year?

We have lots of ways you can get involved and support One Welsh Public Service. 

In addition, we have our full range of courses, programmes and master classes and plenty of learning resources covering a broad range of topics, a selection of ‘quick tips’ to help you on a day-to-day basis and our library of ‘Sowing Seeds’ publications – where we do the research so you can just find out the key facts about new leadership themes.
