If you are a dynamic and courageous senior leader, determined to have a wider impact by leading and driving change within a culture of trust and compassion, then this Experience is for you.
The Experience combines diagnostics with personal development feedback and coaching, offering support and challenge in a comprehensive coaching session to deepen personal reflection and learning transfer.

This learning Experience will help you to develop your leadership behaviours in the following areas:
Learning and self-awareness
Drive and resilience
Championing innovation and change
Building collaboration and partnership
Sharing leadership
Target audience
- Approaching senior leadership - professionals with leadership responsibilities, and are approaching senior leadership (typically with 5 or more years’ leadership experience)
- Senior leadership: senior / top-tier leaders and executives, such as Chief Executives and Directors.
Open to senior leaders in Welsh public service organisations who:
- want to lead through uncertainty, growth and change in their organisations
- want to re-visit and refine their own assumptions and understanding, to improve their leadership practice
- lead a minimum of 3 people
- manage other managers
- have a minimum of 3 peers
- have a minimum of 3 other colleagues
Time commitments
Virtual briefing (1.5 hours, virtual) - 13 January
Profiling (1 day, in person) - 24 March
Coaching session 1 (1.5 hours, virtual or in person) - by 31 March
Coaching session 2 (1.5 hours, virtual or in person) - by 8 May
Learning into action (1 day, in person) - 14 July
Virtual briefing (1.5 hours, virtual) - 15 January
Profiling (1 day, in person) - 19 March
Coaching session 1 (1.5 hours, virtual or in person) - by 27 March
Coaching session 2 (1.5 hours, virtual or in person) - by 8 May
Learning into action (1 day, in person) - 16 July
Cost
We are pleased to announce that for this cohort we are waiving the usual fee of £350+VAT.
Please note that should you be awarded a place and then withdraw, your organisation will be required to pay the full cost.
How to apply
You must be able to take part in all of the activities that make up the Senior Leadership Experience, and your application must be authorised by your line manager.
