- Action learning
- Residential learning community
Benefits to you
We continue to face challenging times and ensuring that effective clinical leadership remains a key priority within NHS Wales is more important than ever. Clinicians in leadership roles have a vital contribution to make, bringing their clinical experience and patient focused perspective to strategic planning and decision making. This contribution will help the NHS work with partners within the framework of the ‘Well Being of Future Generations (Wales) Act’ 2015, ensuring improved quality and equity of care and a healthier Wales.
The Medical Leadership Programme, offered by Academi Wales, provides an excellent opportunity to enhance and develop our clinical leaders. Ensuring that talent is identified and leadership knowledge, skills and behaviours are developed will enable individuals to be better prepared to take on senior strategic roles in the future.
The programme has been externally evaluated and has received excellent feedback from participants, who include those in a range of senior medical leadership roles across the NHS in Wales. This is a great development opportunity and I would strongly encourage you to apply.
