An Introduction to Continuous Improvement
- Open to all public and third sector staff in Wales
This course is delivered on demand and will be arranged based on training needs
- Duration: Half day workshop
This is a half day workshop focused on continuous improvement (CI). We will explain the efficiencies improvements and innovation you can enable by applying CI methodologies as part of a ‘whole system’ approach.
During this interactive session, we demonstrate the logic behind the principles of CI through the use of practical ‘efficiency improvement’ examples. These will focus on how to remove ‘waste’ and overcome the barriers to effective implementation.
We also look at the wider implications of implementing a CI approach and the challenges in doing so. You will get the opportunity to complete a workshop exercise and be encouraged to share your own CI experiences. You will explore this highly effective methodology from a broad perspective.
